Wanted: Black and White Stripes

Anna Spiro at Absolutely Beautiful Things posted some photos of a house she did last week, and it reminded me of my latest obsession: black and white stripe rugs. (Side note: be sure to check her whole post for a super cute green and white stripe painted floor!) They seem so classy to me and would look really sharp under my new coffee table. I have to have one!

I am having a little trouble tracking down just the thing. Everything is either way out of my price range, or not quite the look I’m going for. I honestly haven’t found a rug that looks just like the ones above. Maybe I need some designer connections.

The top runner in my search thus far is the Side by Side tile by Flor.



I love the fact that you only have to replace one tile should something sloppy happen. Plus, they are reasonably priced!
