Wanted: A New Coffee Table

Posted by Megean on 11.16.2009
Have you ever realized that a piece just doesn’t work for you after you’ve lived with it for awhile? It may be great in theory, but it just doesn’t suit your needs. So it was with my DIY coffee table (with great storage I might add). You may remember reading about it here. It turned out to be way too tall for my ultra-low couch. Plus, the shape turned out to be just too bulky for my small space.

The solution? A new coffee table!

I found this mid century modern table at the flea market for the super bargain price of $50! It is in great condition and mimics the length of the couch beautifully.

I am delighted every time I walk in the room! What do you think?

P.S. Did you spot my new slip-cover? It is a temporary fix, but no more scratchy couch fabric!
