Wanted: More Glamour

I say it all the time, I need more glamour in my life. But these days, sweatpants and snow boots are winning out. Where has the glamour gone? (btw, I kinda dig this Chrysler commercial all about this very problem).

Where are the days of Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy? When women seemed so put together, graceful, and glamorous? I am a total believer that the charm of these women was not about what they wore or what they did, but a state of mind and the way they carried themselves. And hats. They always had great hats.

So, I am attempting to add glamour to my life a little at a time. Today that meant curling my hair. Tomorrow I’m going to trade in my snow boots for some heels. A little slushy snow isn't going to bring me down.
