Wanted: More Blood!

Warning: this post may reveal emotions and sentiment present in last night's True Blood finale, but no shocking plot twists.

2010 will forever be known as The Sultry Summer. Be it the record-high temperatures, or the record-low amount of clothing found on True Blood cast members, this summer sure kicked the scandal and intrigue up a few degrees. Last night's True Blood finale was no exception. Lines were drawn, trust was broken, and some people went just plain crazy. Whether you are on Team Eric or Team Bill (is anyone on Team Bill these days?) you have to admit, the emotional stakes were pretty high. I am loving the fact that the show strays enough away from the books that I don't know what's coming next. And boy, I didn't see that cement truck-load of crazy coming.

What will I miss the most during the cold, vampire-less winter months? Only the hottest, most powerful, and most compelling character on the show. That's right, I'm talking about Hoyt Fortenberry. Hoyt is one of those rare men that can do it all. He's charming, sweet, handy (he works on the road crew, after all), sensitive, and manly all at once. And when she's not a lunatic, he loves his mama to boot! So here's to Hoyt Fortenberry, the sexiest non-vampire on television. I'll miss you Hoyt.
