Wanted: Happy Spring Monday!

Well, here we are at Monday again! Did you have a lovely Easter weekend?

I started the day yesterday by whipping up some lemon cupcakes. They are sporting a honey-lemon frosting that is very refreshing.

I ended the day with my dad teaching me to mow the grass. Yep, I mowed the lawn for the first time yesterday and I came out with all of my fingers and toes intact. Doesn’t it look good? With all of the cupcakes and lawn-mowing I guess you could say I am a renaissance woman. Or that I really do belong in the suburbs.

Your backyard is ideal for lawn games. When are you going to have a party to play bocce ball and croquet?

I hope to have a yard party really soon! Maybe around Derby? I'd love to play some corn hole.
