Most Wanted
I was skeptical at first – it is a monster compared to my old phone – but it has some very fancy features! In the near future I could be blogging from the road, but first I have to figure out how to check my voicemail.
On days that are getting me down, I turn to the weekly quotes from On Hand Modern (found via You Are My Fave).
I hung this adorable Elf quote up at work. It’s the perfect pick-me-up on a particularly rough day.
We celebrated Meg’s birthday yesterday. In honor of the occasion (and everyone’s affinity for cupcakes) I made the Salted Caramel Cupcakes seen at The Chic Line.
Despite a pretty major baking disaster (suffice it to say that you should go the extra mile and make your own caramel, don’t trust the store-bought kind!) they were a HUGE hit! I’m glad they could be salvaged.
As a bonus, I whipped up some fun monogrammed cookies. Aren’t they cute?

Thanks! It really is a pick-me-up and I get great comments on it when people stop by. And, if you are really in the mood for a cupcake I highly recommend the salted caramel ones. They got rave reviews!
