Wanted: Winter Cleaning

A genuine snow day set me into a cleaning and organizing frenzy this week. I cannot stop! I have been a busy little be dusting, polishing, mopping, sorting scrubbing and hanging. I even used this tip from Apartment Therapy to scrub under the soap dish, which led to scrubbing the drip pans from the stove! One of the more delightful projects I conquered was tackling the mounds of paper work that had piled up over the last few months and re-arranging a few bookshelves. Re-arranging what you already have is a fun and inexpensive (free!) way to freshen things up. I even changed out some old cork tiles in favor of my fancy diploma.
What about you? Are you getting a jump on spring cleaning while the incessant blizzard warnings keep you at home?
I also spent the past few days working on a pretty dandy DIY that I will share next week Stay tuned!

I pulled my stove out this weekend (well, I had help but still) and there was lots to clean there! Also organized the cabinets I use as a pantry since unfortunately I don't have a dedicated pantry space. Can't wait to see the DIY reveal!
ReplyDeleteI've been snowed in for almost a week now and am finally getting to all of those home improvement projects. I'm inspired by your organization. It's just what I need as I tackle a mountain of projects and chores.
ReplyDeleteIt has been super therapeutic to clean and organize. Good luck!
