Wanted: Vintage Crystal Lamps

You may remember that I’ve been searching for a pair of lamps that will make my desk behind the sofa feel more like a console table. Well, during my search I found these gorgeous vintage crystal lamps at the flea market and now I’m enamored with them.

They may be a little short for my desk (I still need some task lighting after all), but wouldn’t they be sweet on my piano? Or on a bookcase? I think these are super glamorous and very sophisticated.

Now to the conundrum: can I justify buying the lamps when they don’t fit the criteria I was looking for in the first place?

Regardless, they were just too pretty not to share them with you.

Have you seen anything like it? It would be great on my nightstand (with a new shade, of course). Ah, wishful thinking…
