Wanted: A Short Break

Good Monday morning gentle readers! I hope you did not miss me too much last week. Talk about a busy week! I must have really overdone it, because today I find myself a little less than stellar. Now the snow is falling outside and I will spend much of the day huddled under the covers with Nancy Drew, hot tea, and Emma.



I started watching the new Emma miniseries last night and suggest you get on board ASAP! Emma is not my favorite Austen novel. In fact, I didn’t care for it at all the first time I read it. Since I enjoyed the first episode of the new Masterpiece Classic last night I thought I’d give it another shot (and isn’t the pink book jacket too sweet!).

So stay tuned this week for a very belated Golden Globes re-cap, some flea market finds, and more window shopping!
