Wanted: A Win for Sandy!

So yes, I saw The Proposal four times in the theater. And yes, I’ve watched it more than once since purchasing on DVD two weeks ago. Sue me. It’s a delightful film! And now, thanks to this morning’s Golden Globe Nominations, I have been validated!



The force that is Sandra Bullock has been nominated for not one, but two films! In addition to a best performance by an actress in a comedy or musical nod for The Proposal, she also snagged a best performance nod for The Blind Side (which taught me I wasn’t doing enough for mankind). Granted, she is up against Meryl Streep twice, but it’s an honor just to be nominated – right?



Other Golden Globe highlights include several nominations for the Glee kids (yay!), Dexter, and even Toni Collette for United States of Tara. Now if we could just get a nomination for Dexter’s henley – the hardest working shirt in television.
