Wanted: The Start of an Empire

Happy Friday friends! Welcome to the weekend!

My dear friend Meg (if she had a blog I could link to it and it would be awesome) is headed home to Tennessee for her brother's wedding. As a special gift for the bride she has planned the most spectacular dessert table. Seriously. Spectacular. More on that later.

I love dessert tables. Desserts, tables, what's not to love? So, of course I wanted to contribute. My contribution: monogrammed cookies. Let me preface by saying that I am by no means a cookie expert. Strike that, I am by no means a cookie decorating expert (let’s face it, I eat enough cookies to be considered a cookie expert).



I consider the outcome of the cookies mediocre. I was super pleased with the way my new stencil-technique worked out, but I have some consistency issues with the icing to get under control. Meg was happy though, and hopefully the bride will be happy as well and that is all that really matters.
