Happy New Year!
Sorry if I am jumping the gun a bit, but I am headed out of town in the morning and did not want to neglect to wish you the very best in 2010! I'll be spending the last few hours of this decade in our nation's capitol, reflecting on 2009 and dreaming big dreams for 2010. However, I'll try to steer clear of the whole resolution game because I am always disappointed when I don't follow through. No need to set myself up for failure. What about you - any fancy New Year's Eve plans?
PS - I almost forgot! A dear friend mentioned that the first thing you are supposed to see in the New Year is a red bird for good luck, and this adorable Bakelite ring from Petit Oiseau is sure to grant you a charmed year. Here's hoping that this year will be even better than the last!

I had a wonderful New Year's Eve. It was full of hanging out with great friends, drinking strong drinks, eating yummy cupcakes, standing under a balloon drop and playing flip cup. All in all, a great way to start 2010! Happy New Year!
