WANTED: Adam

Welcome back! I hope you had a seriously good weekend, and have started what promises to be a great week. I was able to hit the movie theater on Saturday to check out Adam, which I was delighted to see had finally made its way to my humble city.



I saw the Adam trailer a few months ago online and have been waiting ever since to see this film. I am happy to report that though I built this movie up quite a bit over the past few months, it exceeded my expectations. The film is extremely heartfelt and Hugh Dancy is just wonderful. I was particularly touched by Adam's interactions with others, and the first impressions that he made. I couldn't help but think that the way we treat each other usually has no appreciation for a person’s circumstances/background/situation, which I am not sure was the intended outcome. Isn't it funny how films, music, art, literature, etc. can impact people in such different ways?

Simply, you can consider this my raving endorsement.
